Learn where your wool comes from! Jeffwill begin shearing at 10.30 and go till he is done about 12.30ish. It's Shearing Day on the farm. Jeff starts clipping about 10:30 and goes to 12:30 ish. It's a great opportunity to learn about our critically endangered breed of Teeswater sheep,known for their long soft purled locks, greatly admired by fiber artist, spinners and knitters. Hear why we have sheep, this particular breed and what it takes to keep one, Try your hand at skirting, washing, spinning and carding with other enthusiasts. Raw and processed fleeces and locks are for sale. plus many other woolen products. maybe even your favorite ewe. Please no dogs outside of your vehicle. 603-731-5574 Full raw and washed fleece, natural and dyed locks. You can even choose a foleece befre it's shorn. Your favorite sheep may even be for sale. Watch or get involved with the demonstrators skirting, washing, spinnin and carding the wool.
